​Who we are.  ​

We are the Allen Special Olympics Delegation (ASOD) and operate under the guidelines and tax identification number of Special Olympics Texas (www.SOTX.org).  We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization administered by volunteers. 

Our Mission.

Our mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympics-type sports for children and adults with special needs; to provide these athletes continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy; to enable athletes to create new friendships, share their gifts with their family and the community.
